Does anyone have experience with these cutters?
They look quite stiff and interesting for machining fine details that doesn’t have vertical surfaces.

Yes I use CarveWright and the bits are like this they do a spectacular job. I also also retrofitted a unit with a Dremel chuck to use those bits and the detail level is incredible… Hope this helps you.
I have not used these specific bits, but I have a few from http://www.precisebits.com/products/carbidebits/taperedcarve250b4f.asp that work great. They are ideal for 3D carving.
