Does anyone have tips for shooting video of LEDS in low light? I use a nikon 3200 dslr, nothing crazy. Obviously a lower aperture and slower shutter speed, but what about ISO settings? I try to keep it as low as possible to keep as much noise out of the video… is there anything else that has worked for others? Would anyone recommend shelling out for a low light lens?
On a slightly different note, for anyone who uploads videos to instagram of their work using fastled, I’ve read that closer the video quality is to 15mb, the higher the quality will be on a cell phone screen. Usually my files are around 50mb with my nikon so I actually kick the quality down to upload nicer videos to instagram.
