Does anyone here have experience with the Up! printers?

Does anyone here have experience with the Up! printers? I’m thinking of getting the Up! Plus2

I’ve used one in the past. Mixed bag: print quality is very good at 0.1mm, the snap away supports are also the best I’ve come across. The build area is pretty small compared to other options. Their closed source software was a bit flaky and took ages to slice complex models but they might have fixed it by now. If you want a printer that works straight out of the box, you could do a lot worse.

Ok, that sounds pretty good to me. I need something that’s up and running out of the box as quickly as possible, and it’s going to be rare that I print anything over 5" cubed. The closed software does worry me a bit, but I also have a LulzBot TAZ that I can use for larger prints and if I want to use Slic3r instead.

Sounds like a good choice then. @David_Da_Costa might also be able to give some feedback as he has an UP! and a lulzbot machine I think.

Tried ultimaker? Make magazine said it was one of the best machines around…

I had strongly considered an ultimaker, but I REALLY need as much out of the box reliability, simplicity, etc. as I can get.
