They changed it so all business gets routed directly to express hubs unless the customer manually selects a hub. Even then they still list the express hub first even if you sort by location and the express is 100+ km away. Many users have expressed their grievance to which the company pretty much replied that they were focusing on large volume customers. It’s despicable, they built their backs on makers and now they leave us in the trash. Worst part is that they’re integrated with so much that there’s no turning back, they pretty much own the market on FDM services.

Been thinking about the possibility of starting our own printing service community today to bring back something similar to the old way 3D Hubs used to work and how it might work now. Then @ThantiK made a post about the same idea…

@Adam_Steinmark wow. I didn’t know that

@Jeff_Parish keep me posted on any progress on creating an alternative. I have several friends who no longer get orders. So, they have nothing to lose by leaving 3D hubs. Thanks!

@Nolan_Manteufel I’ll do what I can. :slight_smile: Post a follow comment on the thread that ThantiK started (posted above) and that will help to keep you in the loop so far. I’m sure if things progress you will see more threads started on the topic. The community will try to let everyone know about it.
