Does anyone know anywhere that does PEI coating besides the guy in Germany?

Does anyone know anywhere that does PEI coating besides the guy in Germany? I’ve been emailing him back and forth with how to get it to stick to stainless steel but he has no experience with SS. He also can’t manufacture the plate I need so I’d have to pay for shipping from and to the US just to test it.

Why would you want stainless? It is less terminal conducting and does not work that good with inductive probes…

@Markus_Granberg I’m using a thin stainless steel sheet (22ga) on top of an aluminum base embedded with high temp magnets which gives me a slightly flexible and removable print surface.

@Adam_Steinmark how about gluing the Prusa-PEI-sheet on the SS spring plate? I do this and it works really well…

@Rene_Jurack The one that comes with the 3M backing or the new PEI coated metal sheet?

the cheap one with the 3m-adhesive on the back.

@Rene_Jurack What glue are you using? Just using a PEI sheet with 3M adhesive backing is my fallback but I keep getting one tiny spot getting ripped off in the middle of it on my printers. Although the flexible plate should help minimize this.
