Does PETG really that strong or Gerber Dime just suck…?
Fooling around trying the PETG filament I got recently, print some solid fill piece and try to break it with multitool, I know I know keychain multitool is for really light duty but still…
Ahh time to get a new one, maybe Leatherman next time.
Actually Leatherman is more bad than Gerber. Gerber is better. But both are still not as good as Victorinox. Victorinox is using not just plain steel but some hardened alloy which is more durable. I managed to break all sorts of Leatherman and one Gerber but never managed to break any Victorinox.
You probably twisted the tool in the worst possible way when you tried to break the plastic. The tool was not designed to be twisted from side to side like that.
@Christopher_Lyth yeah, that may be my fault too for not grab the piece straight, but I’m not grab it from the side or twist it. That breaking plastic is from bigger plier I use later.
