Does someone have experience with this one? I hot an offer from the seller. He would give it to me for ~100€, included shipping and no additional fees or customs. I am a little concerned about the quality of the parts. It prints 150^3 mm and has a bowden setup. Maybe I could tune it to have 200^3 mm and a direct drive.

I love crane printer but that thing looks fragile

Bukito clone

You always get what you pay for, so expect €100 worth of 3D printer…

I know that. Thats why I am asking for experience with this one and not what it is or what I will become. There are a bunch of cheap printers that are actually good machines.

Years ago a Bukito on Kickstarter was $800. Three years later a nice printerbot was ~ $250. $100 may be pushing the lower limit but at only $100 even if it has problems it is worth it as a learning experience. I wasted $1200 on a delta that was a piece of @#$%.

That thing was my first printer. I learned that I liked to design stuff in Fusion 360 and that it was worth investing in a better setup. You should get it if you want to try out 3D printing before investing too much. But do not think that you can upgrade it, because if that is the plan you are better off buying something else. You will not find space for 200 mm in any direction because the alu extrusions are not any longer than they need to be and you would also need to replace belts. If you are going to modify it that much, why not build something from ground up like a Hypercube Evolution?

@Baldur_Norddahl

I am currently building two machines. Just thought it was a good deal. After doing some homework i also came to the conclusion that i wouldnt buy it. But thanks anyway.

It is a good deal for someone that wants to try it out. I was happy that I bought it. But I would not buy it again, I am now past the stage were it is useful for me. The price is good, you will get parts that can be reused in a later build and you more or less only paid for the parts.

Pls share the seller that does sell it for 100$, I wanna try…

Ok, thx

I recommend sending him a price suggestion. He went down to 105€ and, like he said, no additional fees. I wouldnt rely on that though.
