Does someone have experience with this printer?
As i mentioned earlier in one of my posts, I’m looking for a reliable and big 3D printer for my architecture office. It should have an Enclosure.

This is a fairly old 3d printer, and I’m pretty sure you would find much better for that cost.

@Sahil_Jain any suggestions?

We don’t really care about the cost factors @Buhda_Pete_Punk

STAY FAR AWAY! unless they have radically improved.
You can enclose an Ultimaker 3, much better/easier to use.

If cost is no issue, then https://www.3dsystems.com/ might have what you are looking for?

We have one. It sucks. I think we paid about $5k for it and I’ve never been able to successfully print anything close to the size of the printer volume. My kids $170 printer is more reliable. The Z18 extruder clogs all the time and often pops off the gantry because it is magnetic. The new smart+ extruder is supposed to be better but I would waste my money on this.

The Raise3d N2+ is good if you’re really needing the volume and it’s already enclosed out of the box. One of the Ultimaker extended versions might suit your needs if you buy a third party hood and door kit.

If cost is truly no issue and you want the best of the best check out stratasys. They are the industry standard and will last a long time with the reliability you want. They can recommend a machine for you based on your requirements.

Raise3d would fit the bill.

https://www.bcn3dtechnologies.com/en/3d-printer/bcn3d-sigma/ how about this one?

Ask +jeff parish and @Ernesto_Martinez what they use…might need a custom enclosure, but amazing reliability for the price, beats 5 and 10k machines all day long…

@Jeff_Parish

Reliabuild’s RigidBot, for sure. Great quality but even better support. And they are absolutely quiet! I have Trinus which is nice for small things but for major projects I always use the RigidBot. Supported by Marlin firmware out of the box, and also lots of modifications available, and a big community.

I use my stock ReliaBuild 3D and upgraded Rigidbot printers to do large precision high quality prints and assemblies all the time. They are workhorse printers. Easy to maintain with a very low cost of ownership. Not sure why you want the enclosure (they are very quiet) but that would not be a hard thing to make for one of these machines if you need a heated volume for printing something like ABS.
