Doing test prints on the backs of paper plates.

Doing test prints on the backs of paper plates. The curve of the plate centers itself on the round platform. Also the plate is sitting a little high so it has room to flex and not damage anything when I adjust the heights. I don’t have to fuss with tape, because I didn’t have any at first. It’s fast and easy to swap in a new plate when stuff sticks to the paper.
It was good to get familiar with the controls and not worry about smashing in the aluminum platform.
I am printing with pla and I don’t have a heated bed yet.

In the photo with the partial tardis, a screw backed itself loose and went amiss.

I have been using copier paper for quite a while now. I use temporary adhesive to hold it down and print away. Easy clean up and definitely not as messy as any of the glue options.
