You can probably neglect using an actual marker and use it to mark directly on paper using melted filament.
I would love to see a similar thing, but with a bunch of mini sharpies that can spin on a motor. I have no idea how you would create a new “axis” in the slicing to spin the color selecting motor, but if you could, you’d do some amazing things.
Better yet if you can do it with oil paint, but baby steps.
