Dremel welding. It wrooorks!
Sounds interesting. Can you share how you do this?
Shure ill make a vidjeo!
@Bert_Haverkamp
Lots of videos on friction welding on YouTube.
Basically, just chuck up a piece of filament in your Dremel, and run it along the joint. Friction melts the joint and the filament, creating a strong weld.
@Carlton_Dodd alright now i wont do a vijeo
As much as friction welding is cool, I find I get better-looking, stronger bonds using a junky old soldering iron and a little bit of scrap filament as filler than doing friction welding.
@Paul_Eberhart did that several times, but its not as strong as frictionwelding. With a solderingiron most of the stuff gets fried real good ;D
The key is to clean up your joints after friction welding, just like regular welding.
