Dry fit of the Y extension for my Printrbot  Simple looks good.

Dry fit of the Y extension for my @Printrbot Simple looks good. Should be installing it tomorrow.

Nice Job I like the design

Very nice. I used the bearing retaining parts, but used zip ties instead of screws.
Be careful to keep the belt tight, or it rubs on itself as it goes over the idler bearing.
Otherwise, works beautifully!

@Carlton_Dodd yeah I was worried a bit about that also. They are pretty close.
I’ll probably print and glue s small piece inbetween the to to isolate.

@Carlton_Dodd Did you have to make the wires longer of there was enough already with what was on your simple ?

Yeah, I extended and cleaned up everything when I installed mine.

@Carlton_Dodd would love to see a picture of how you made your cable managment.

You can see that most of my cable management is just one cable clamp (on a stand-off), and some zip-ties. The one interesting thing I did was a 12V distribution block, using a 2-row female pin header and some pins soldered on as plugs.
