This is awesome. I’m going to get printer #3 built with the chimeras I finally got and give this a shot.
I have a peak green color like that and will probably use a plain red in place of the other color (magenta?).
The green is Inventables Key Lime Green and the translucent magenta is from an unknown source.
I shall be very interested to see your print and keep us posted with the Chimeras installation:-)
I have to design a quad direct extruder with 2 sets of chimeras for a large format Cohesion printer for a client (that’ll be interesting) and then I’ve got a 3rd chimera for this kind of experimenting. I pretty much use primary color filaments from Microcenter, nothing fancy. I have the neon-like “peak green” as they call it and fairly standard red, blue, etc… Maybe a blue dragon? Haven’t decided on that parameter yet.
I’ll keep you posted and will definitely ask permission if I print something of yours that I want to show on my kickstarter in the future
