E3D Edge - It’s like PETG but with added sciencey type stuff. Even if you’re not in the market for some new materials at the moment I think this might make an interesting read on how different materials, bond, flow and how the properties of the material you’re printing affect the process and output.

Plastic is a deceptively complex thing, the more I learn the less I realise I know.

Dammit Sanjay. Why couldn’t you have released this this morning? :stuck_out_tongue: I ordered a spool of PETG as a test from somewhere else… Been hunting an alternative to NGEN and XT.

Although watching your Video with regards to Co-Polymers getting brittle due to moisture, it makes a lot of sense why my NGEN prints have deteriorated and my Battery Sleds snap easily.

I’ll have to try this. It sounds very nice, and it’s less expensive than a certain copolyester beginning with ‘n’.

p.s. What about Scaffold? When is that coming back? I missed the beta and badly want to try it.

p.p.s. Sanjay, is your hair 3D printed?

“Plastic is a deceptively complex thing, the more I learn the less I realise I know.” I feel the same way. Good job though. It sounds like you’ve really done your homework!
