Earlier this evening my son (3) used the plier on the rumba. It was my own fault, had it laying around. Fortunately the rumba survived. Even more fortunate he didn’t hurt himself.
You owned a Saab at some point?
Nope
@Daniel_Stauffer those pliers come in the tool kit in the trunk of Saabs. Wagermany from Germany! Wait the Saab ones don’t have round jaws, their square? Where you find those?
I don’t know where I got that one from. I basically got it forever. But what I own is a Golf 4, the plier could be a standard tool for that one also.
Buy him an electronics kit already. Mine at 3 was capable enough to build a working radio from components: https://www.amazon.com/Electronic-Children-Construction-Schemes-Znatok/dp/B00EAI5INM/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1521225689&sr=8-4&keywords=znatok Pliers friendly components
(oh, just look for English version, that one pictured is in Russian).
Thanks for the suggestion @Alex_Koukarine will have a look at it
…or you can 3D print one for him - great application for the conductive filament.
Also a good idea. He is already helping me with the screws and stuff when we build on the printer or furniture or whatever.
Doesn’t ship to Germany though. But I bet I can find a similar one here.
Check for that Znatok name. It’s Russian made so I’m sure they are targeting EU market as well, you might be able finding it in German.
