Eeek, seems to be quite a few people building the Ingentis or seriously considering it. I’m conscious that time constraints and general uselessness have prevented me from finishing build guides, updating the BOMs and so on so in an effort to prevent people from wanting to kill me, here is a new community so people can share there experiences, post pictures, updated designs and death threats.

Lol!
Hows that…
“Hey guys - this is my ide… oh! - you’ve all built one!”

Must be a good feeling @Tim_Rastall

I’d be having a crack at one if I had the time and money right now!

It just looks like a great build envelope, can be easily enclosed, has a lot of hackability to it, and has the right ratio of printable parts to extrusions. Now, if I have enough aluminum left over, I might Kosselify my 3DR…but then again, I might not.

The first150 reddit discount made it affordable for me.

@Jim_Squirrel What did you get and How much did it cost before the discount?

I ordered the extrusion and 10mm rods and it was $156.00 I still don’t have an invoice cost on shipping

I ordered extrusion, 4 10mm rods, 4 8mm rods. Total was $156 before shipping. All they charged me for was $16.75 shipping.

@Jim_Squirrel What is this discount you speak of and more importantly, can I get it?

Only good in US and Canada. Read about it here:

Not so if you have a reship.Com account.

Lol…
Sounds like a bit of screwing around - great discount but I won’t bother ‘hacking’ a purchase - appreciate the info tho guys

@Tim_Rastall I thought you couldn’t do that because you needed to be a US business to order?

I’ve been thinking about designing a mendlemax 1.5 to odd-shaped Ingentis conversation kit, all that would be needed would be two more rods and printed parts, what do you recon?

@Liam_Jackson , you don’t need to be a business, I ordered from the US and the sales rep even asked me if I was the same Eric Moy that had a work account with them, which I do. They asked if this was for personal use, which I said yes, then they asked if it was for a 3d printer, which I said yes to as well. The rep said, the intent was to get people to use the product and then buy more. I’ve already instructed one of my guys at work to use the extrusion for a test fixture we’re designing, so I guess the promotion is working

Is it still running I need to order the extrusion for my laser
