Effector bucking. Once again, thanks to +Anthony Morris for running an awesome forum. I dunno why I expected the ball joints to be a maintenance free part of the printer, but a dab of lithium grease in all the right places, and a little snug on the bolts and 90% of the effector bucking is gone. It’s printing at 120% (where it was printing at 75% speed multiplier yesterday.) Yeah, I know those numbers don’t mean much, but it’s a huge improvement.

There’s still some deflection, and I’m thinking it’s the bearing supports that are doing it. I’ll see if I can’t get the zip-ties a little tighter, but it may be deflection in the plastic part that’s causing it.

I learned that some of it can actually come from the rods deflecting too. If the rods are too thin, they can bend slightly, causing end effector rocking.

Good point. I have Carbon Fiber rod, and now that I HAVE a printer, can print suitable end pieces for them.
