Ever have one of those projects that takes much longer than you think it

Ever have one of those projects that takes much longer than you think it will?

My Christmas project for this year is one of those. It’s actually last year’s project. And the year before that. OK, I actually started three Christmas seasons ago. No, it wasn’t that complicated, it’s just I’ve had some really bad Christmases these last few years. One crisis after another.

Anyway, HERE YA’ GO! These jolly little jellyfish Christmas light covers are meant to be printed in clear or translucent PETG. I printed a few in PLA, and they promptly broke (the PLA was old, brittle, glow-in-the-dark filament – you might have better luck). I’ve printed a few dozen PETG jellies, and all are still intact.

Modeled in Blender, and the blend file is provided if you want to mess with it.

Happy Holidays everybody! Thanks for another year of sharing your collective printing wisdom!

They look great, nice job!
