Aceton for the win?
I recommend against sand paper.
Use sanding sponges and sanding linen instead. Donât forget Filler, Primer, Colors and Clear coats.
Nope, aceton only works on abs. If you want a âuniversalâ solution, look at XTC-3D. It does wonders!
What do you refer to with ânopeâ?
I find it to be hard to apply. Air bubbles, inconsistent thickness. I like to stay with careful filling and sanding. Itâs more controlled then resin coats.
With a little practice, you hardly get bubbles, and its way better than getting sick with abs vapors. Dont ask how I know.
âHardly anyâ doesnât sound like a perfect surface.
oh, I do get a perfect surface after proper sanding, filling, sanding, coating, polishing. When I can see all of the room (not just the lights) reflected in the surface, Iâm halfway done.
