Experimenting with rafts and support material with ProtoPasta PC-ABS and S3D with truly awesome results. The easiest and cleanest support material removal I have ever used.

@Whosa_whatsis previously mentioned using this material with great support material results in his diagonal printing methods, which I have to second.

ProtoPasta ABS-PC printed on a Mendel 90 with an E3D-v6 at 290C on the nozzle and 130C on a UHU Stic coated bed. Sliced with Simplify 3D with pretty much the default settings.

I will have to try that material. But I can attest to the easy removal of Simplify3d support. I almost don’t bother limiting myself to generally conceived “printable geometry” anymore

I’ve been reading a lot of praise by several people about Simplify3D. But at $140, is there a trial version out there?

No S3D demo. There are some videos and tutorials that show some of the capability.
