work in progress led lotus fans > perspex addressable led (adafruits) +flora board :need a wee bit more work but they are coming along - I’ve been trying to make them respond to music but the vu meter did not rely cut it - was looking at the fast led library to help not sure if its applicable . any good tutorials out there on beat detection? using the microphone breakout ?

yeah i tried that code its pretty good in that ill splits the less in half - but it still does a traditional height= peak dot =colour arrangement - I think I’m after something more like the AMAZING hat on this group it uses beat detection therefore a low or high pass filter… not 100% sure how to integrate that in…
I’ve had good results with just the Sparkfun microphone breakout and no filtering. Kickdrums are loud, relatively.
