Fibonacci v3D! My wife requested I build a round Fibonacci spiral lamp, so I took a break from working on v2: https://photos.google.com/share/AF1QipMr8Z39t_ITTwvPqklWQDNhmZmwSsGm0zgEDzMz7jv0ySyMf4RFoLV-Bz8y9YLTwg?key=UDJiTjk4SjV2OVkyWGtaZmpXVDZHOWRIaE5lV3l3

I ran the LEDs in a slightly different order than v1, so I’ll need to redo the XY and spiral maps. I also plan to create radius and 3D maps, and maybe wire up a MSGEQ7 for audio reaction.

Build pics, with details in the info for each pic: https://photos.google.com/share/AF1QipMRtbkzNtHC0ReEFrgPosaHLkF8ZybcdMKGUVXZbp0zT2ZnMnwbZg1CKV6FyP8lJw?key=UGFmc3JDRGZfOUZ0UWFUQmU3VlFQc0JYdTdxSkpB

Very nice work! Thanks for sharing the source code!

Amazing lamp!

Another great build Jason. Cool!

Wow, very nice!

Thanks, everyone! I finished remapping to actual Fibonacci sequence and XY, the code has been updated, new video coming soon.

Great stuff. Actually doing the same sort of project. Except using a 3d printed model. Did you use a pre-wired set of leds or wire them yourself. If pre-wired where did you source them from?

Thanks! Cool, I really want a 3D printer so I can step up my fabrication capabilities, although I do enjoy building things the old-fashioned way. Yeah, it’s two strings of 50 non-waterproof (IP30) 8mm WS2811 RGB LEDs. They’re available on AliExpress, eBay, etc.
