Finally given up on using my E3D Titan,

Finally given up on using my E3D Titan, on my second one and it’s stripping/grinding filament like there in no tomorrow, swapped it out and zero issue using my old faithful mini mendel, I would put it on my i3 but the greg’s wade hasn’t skipped a beat.

So as the old saying says “If it ain’t broke don’t fix it”

No sh*t Sherlock

That’s strange. We had one of the beta versions of the Titan, and I’ve assembled 2 production versions that have been installed for a few weeks with excellent results.

Just curious, what were the steps/mm you landed on with the Titan?

I used the mathematical calculation of 450 I think and the only time I had any grinding stripping is when I let the fan cut off and cause heat creep. I was using the cooling fan with the settings on all the time but it would lead to it shutting off at times. Hooked them up to the 12v auxiliary and no more problems.

I had the estep set @ 404

So it looks like there is an issue with the hobbed section of my Titan.

Maybe some closeup video or photos of it in operation would be helpful for others to help ascertain your issues.
