Finally got my dual e3d setup running. Blew a driver, a polyfuse, and ruined 2 fan. But I finally got it.
Still some stringing issues to work out but it’s nice to see it complete a print.
Any tips?

What extruder are you using? what mount? Trying to decide what to print for my new E3D for my Prusa i3
I’m using an EZStruder powered by a 5:1 geared stepper. I designed the mount myself to house the steppers as well as mount to the side of the printer. You can see more here: https://plus.google.com/111513417734753522166/posts/d2ZGMJJWqXJ

As far as stringing issues, put up a skirt around your part very close to it. This’ll catch little blobbies and keep the outside edge clean.
@Mike_Kelly_Mike_Make you are the man - nice job!

We use Cura and it now has some awesome anti ooze features. We use both the prime tower and the ooze shield, pretty much eliminates ooze problems. It’s what we used here for the kraken http://e3d-online.com/index.php?route=extras/blog/getblog&blog_id=20
But it should apply just fine to a dual v5 setup too.
