Finally got my F1 fully assembled with electronics and made it outside for a test drive. First casualty was one of the front axles thought I had printed them at 100% but it doesn’t look like it. Firing up the Printer for my first “repair”.
Where’s the camera that supposed to be above the top air intake? Another casualty? =)
Still in the parts bag. Thought I’d leave it off until I run it a few times.
So how was the test drive until it broke? Was it fun?
Sure! My road is too busy to get it up to full speed. Already have it repaired. Need to visit a parking lot to open her up.
I printed the new axles on the side. Needed to sand the outside down a bit to get the bearings to fit.
Nice print! What printer and filament for the body you are using?
@denix I used a Wanhao duplicator i3 with Robo3d Carbon Fiber Filament.
The tires were some cheap TPU I found on Amazon.
The print looks smooth, nice work!
