Finally, I think its done, at least ready to start physical assembly. Knocked out my least favorite part, the walls, last night. Doing all the bolt intersection holes drives me nuts. Planning on cutting walls later today and starting to bolt up tomorrow or tonight. Still not sure about the x axis but well see.
Nice. What’s your belt tension method? I only ask because I have felt first hand the headaches this oversight caused my build.
Gah thanks Eric. I forgot to model that. I’m planning for spring tentioned bearings that push on the belts at the cross point and see how that goes. If it doesn’t work I may try something else or bail on coreXY haven’t decided.
If your using complete belts a spring off a clothes hanger clip and a bearing with some creative drafting will resolve your issue. I plan to give this a shot soon, in the middle of a build myself.
