Finished coding my motorized camera slider today. I recycled the (not so) smooth rods from my old Chinese Prusa I3 printer. It uses a NEMA14 stepper motor and is controlled by an ATmega328 and DRV8825 driver. It’s powered by a small 3S Lipo battery.

What are you using it for?
To make some general scenery videos, and will try to make timelapse stuff with it.
You know what I haven’t seen yet? A robotic setup for product photography with light adjustment and a carousel. Seems like you could put this all in a box and use 3D printer software to run this?
@J_Van_Hamsterwheel maybe you can use the Hardware for a 3D Scanner AS base to begin with.
Only thing you must modify and add ist the light
@Bajdi_Electronics have you published the hardware and software files somewhere?
@Thomas_Sanladerer Not yet, but I’ll post the files on my blog.
