Finished!!! For now.
3d printed in PETG on my custom designed printer. My first airbrush attempt ever. I used craft store acrylics cut with water.
Sanded, glazing putty, sanded, filler primer, sanded, repeat all steps a few times, then painted.

nice work!!!

Woow looks awesome. Which printer “custom design” board drivers motor type?

@Benjamin_Lukman

Ramps, nema 17s (the big ones, 80oz if I remember correctly). 3 point leveling is Rock solid. Level it every couple hundred or so prints.

IMPRESSIVE!!!

@Andrew_Radovich_BadW is there a kit for this printer??? Or is it a self build? I wouldn’t mind building one since I have access to a boneyard of copy machines!!!..lots of stepper motors!!!

Amazing!

I would love to hear which airbrush kit you have, what sandpaper, what glazing and putty you use to get this result.

It’s absolutely awesome!

@Panayiotis_Savva it’s the cheap airbrush from harbor freight. I start with 80 grit on the raw print and move to 240 for the glazing putty and primer stages. Finish off with 400

@Fook_INGSOC self built

Very nicely done!

Great job!
