Finished my mk2

Took me 3 hours to tune the frame to pass calibration, and it still isn’t perfect, but was able to print the frog. Was testing something taller, a vase, but the filament came undone 4 hours in. I think it was a tangle? I have to check when I get home. Had my kid turn the printer off.

Wow! 3 hours. I’m happy to see your assembly results. I have recommended to the local county makerspace to purchase the genuine Prusa kit to be assembled as a makerspace project, open to the public. Open to view the process, not open to participate!

Yeah 3 hours… I think the thing 3d printers mainly produce is frustration… the print results are just secondary.

Hello Jordan.
May I want to know when your printer arrived after you ordered (basically lead time)?

Yeah mine says it can’t detect front points. I said oh well print! Almost got all 3d printed parts reprinted in black. Couldn’t get the orange. Need to print a new spool holder if you haven’t yet. Print bearing clips for the bearings under the bed too, they slip with just zip ties. Dab of hot glue is a simpler fix. I used dreylin bearings for everything.

Oh and i hated the glue stick it came with. Switched back to my disappearing purple one

Whoa, good tips @Jarrid_Kerns . Look what I found

Going to go around and really tune the frame.

@Vaibhav_Goradia it was back ordered and took a few weeks to come in.

That’s what i used to tune mine! Check out aaron yourk on tinker cad he has some nice parts

Yea I did, but was afraid my printer is too out of wack to print the guides correctly.
