First layer pr0n. Prima PETG (rebranded eSun) in White at 80 microns on to bare glass. 255 nozzle 80 bed on the FB2020 +. Only recently started printing at 80 microns due to a customer wanting it teaches you about levelling the bed, considering most of the time I print at 280 microns, it’s been a challenge. I also hate printing white… small bit of carbon from the nozzle or a tinest bit if debris on the bed, the print is ruined. Spent most of the morning making sure it’s not going to happen. Hence printing on bare clean glass and wanting to see if the FB2020s are capable of having a bed that’s really well levelled. Also, before you say ‘it’s going to warp’ I know… this is why the bed is at 80c.
I would get rid of the clips and use silicon thermal transfer pads to hold the glass down. Does not bow the glass like the clips can.
Agree. Just waiting for what I need to arrive from China. Clips are just so not right.
