First look at my LED sculpture for Burning Man 2018. I made a small one (2 ft tall) to explore some ideas. The playa version is 8 ft tall. The structure is made from bent copper tubing, and the diffusers are made from the white PEX tubing introduced by @Trey_Coursey . The photo is what it looks like with the power off. I call it Copper Jelly.

Looks great. How are the lights attached to the copper tubing?

@Chris_Creel They are in that silicone sleeve that claims to be waterproof, and it turns out that ordinary silicone glue sticks just fine to bare copper. So just glued, with a couple of zip ties as backup.

I would rely on zip ties exclusively over glue on the playa.
