First move, lowcost axis for cnc foam cutter
hello, which software will you use for foam cutting ?
Do you have a method of tightening the bearings onto the shaft? Maybe an eccentric axis or a lengthy hole to adjust the position of the bolt?
Are those inside bearings on your truck for flex in the middle of your guides??

I’ve made something similar. Not so cheap as yours, but works much better because of not loosing stiffness in the middle of movement. I’ve tried to make axis as yours, but bearings slipped out in the middle (on 12mm hartened rod). So I’ve decided to use a alu profile from trash and make this. And I used belts, which are faster than screw
