First movements of our big CNC mill at FabLab Amersfoort. 2440x1220 working area.
It has been a year in the making. Mostly due to slow progress because of no planning and waiting on parts.
Total cost has been under 3k euros I think. But lots of salvaged parts. I hope to make a proper BOM and build plans to open-source it.

Needs more 8020 and cowbell too

We quickly wired up an Arduino with GRBL using jumper wires. Still need to properly wire it, we where just testing the cables to the motors and stepper drivers.
The stepper drivers are DM542, not sure what the steppers motors are.
