First prints with Bridge from Taulman. I love this stuff. No supports and that little pin was basically printed in the air.

Printed at 245c in 60c glass with a 75:25 mix of PVA to water painted on. Bed adhesion was fantastic and no warpage. The layer fusion on this stuff is amazing. I tried pulling apart with pliers, separating it with a knife and its still as good as new. Ive also ran some parts through the dishwasher with no ill effects.

That little pin is fantastic, how the hell did it manage that?

Magic Id guess. All my settings are what I would normally run for ABS other then the temp changes.

What printer was it printed on?

What is the resolution on that print? That’s pretty nice.

Nice

How rigid is the material after cooling?
What kind of temperature tolerance does it have without deforming or softening too much to bear load?

@Jo_Bigger its my own design that I haven’t been very vocal about but that will be changing soon…

I printed at .2 layers

I’m not sure about temp but I was impressed with the dishwasher. My water is HOT and deforms all kinds of stuff.

@Ashley_Webster this stuff doesn’t need garolite, doesn’t warp near as bad and isn’t near as hydrophilic. Basically all the good with none of the bad. Cheaper too.

@Joe_Spanier What hot end are you using? I’m pretty wary of taking my Ubis (on a Printrbot Simple) that high. I have two spools of Build just waiting on a capable hot end!
@Ashley_Webster Yes. Yes, you’d better.

@Joe_Spanier May I share/repost this as an example of a great successful printing recipe on a community I’ve just set up, or is it too secret for the moment. The community is just to share, recipes for successful printing on different machines. So far I’m the only one posting!

@Jo_Bigger Have at it. None of what I showed here is secret.

@Carlton_Dodd Im using an E3Dv5, so running hot has not been a concern yet. You should buy one and rejoice in the awesome.

@Joe_Spanier Okay, finally pulled the trigger on an E3D and two spare nozzles from Filastruder. I’ve got to get in on the fun with nylon!

The guys at filastruder kick ass. You’ll be happy.

How fast can you print with Bridge? When I print with 618 or T-Glaze I have to slow it down quite a bit.

@Carlton_Dodd Tim here, from Filastruder. Your hot end will be in tomorrows mail - I’ll send tracking later tonight.

these were set to 90 for perimeters and 100 for infill. They were printed solid. Thats what I usually print abs at. The nylon feels like it flows just as well if not better

@Tim_Elmore Wow! @Joe_Spanier was right. You guys do kick ass!

Great. Can’t wait for it to be available!

@Ben_Jackson It’s available now. I bought two spools from Taulman last week.

Yes its available on the taulman website

Sweet. I’ll order some now! Thanks
