First start of my e3d, anything I need to do?? Heat before putting in the plastic??
Did you follow the assembly instructions ? You are suppose to heat it up before tightening.
What @Shachar_Weis said . Also, make sure you do a PID autotune. You will need to tweek you slicer settings as your die swell and ooze may well be different - print a calibration cube to get your infill dialled and then an ooze calibration piece (like this one http://www.tantillus.org/FTP/Pyramid.stl)
Generally you should need less retraction. You may also find that you need to tweek your temperature settings.
