Sorry for the delay in replying. @benjamin_malaspina1 & I have are concluding our Southern California tour of Hack Spaces & @Deezmaker_3D_Printer in Pasadena (interesting guys).
@1111142 The STL is available here -> https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B1mL_XFL1XBIWVg3eGN3ek9ha3M/edit?usp=sharing
@Techknow_Atlas We used a well calibrated, often used wooden @Printrbot Simple 2014.
Thanks SoCal, we’ll be back
Thought it looked familiar. I’m using the same model
Thinking of upgrading mine to the notched/toothed belt drives x&y
@Techknow_Atlas So is @benjamin_malaspina1
We both have Simple '14s. Ben & I aspire to create a 3D printer service center. Looks like SoCal is going to be our location.
From a technician’s POV the wooden Simple '14 is excellent for teaching the process & troubleshooting of Cartesian-style, layered fabricating (@ < $1000 unit). Viva la @Printrbot
