first try ceramic printing on new design and build piston

more to come…
Where’d you obtain the leur lock compatible fitting for the tubing?
I’ve used value plastics which has since been acquired by nordson but still operating, just under a different name. They did samples. Cole Parmer carries a lot of interconnects of this nature but it isn’t cheap.
@ThantiK i just brought some medical extension tubing ( infusion line ) , it’s really cheap (+/- 0.5€ ea) and fit well for the tube i use ( standard 6mm clear tubing )
Nice arrangement, with the piston pump mounted Bowden-style. Maybe there is hope we can do this on small deltas someday…
@Dominic_Amae hi thx, the idea about this setup is to have a really easy to swap system( it’s actually take me less than 5mins to switch from plastic to ceramic - 1min switchin hardware 4mins software [ estep/mm / zMin] )
BUT the problem i’m facing now is the bowden add a LOT resistance … so the paste have to be more “wet” witch make HIGH print really hard to do, i’m trying a redesign to make the tubing bigger to reduce the resistance a bit… i’ll post result as soon as i 've some . i’ll have to find out the GOOD mix for the ceramic paste too
@J_DTRTR if you want to reduce resistance, try decreasing the length of the needle - that’s the point of greatest constriction, so I expect you would see flow improvement with a much shorter needle.
@Dominic_Amae good to know i’ll try , the ting is the connector ( syringe/tubing ) add lot’s of small constriction . but still i’ll try reducing the needle lenght
