Fixed my Da Vinci with the tensioner out of Thingiverse (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:805215). i ditched the spring and it’s been working for 2 hours straight so far. XYZPrinting said they will replace my tensioner even though I am 1 month out of warranty, so hat’s off to them for that (although they do not know when the part will reach me). Meanwhile, I am back in operation. You can see the before and after. I think one should have more than one printer…so that one printer makes parts for the other…

And it gets better…certain files, if not put through an external function like netFabb causes the printer to crash and reboot (this happens with S3D and the native XYZ printing application even with Repair turned on. Groan…
Had to make some rod holders for my davinci with my 2nd printer. It’s very useful
