For Daniel Garcia ,

For @Daniel_Garcia , a close up of the parts of my wearable power bus.

Things I’d Do Differently Next Time: these are big, thick huge 7mm(?) lugs and a bastard to crimp properly. There are smaller ones (5/4mm?) available and I’d use those, them being more appropriately-sized to the wire I’m crimping them on too.

Also, it’s worth spending half an hour with a couple of pairs of pliers plugging and un plugging each one into a blade a couple of times to loosen them up, otherwise you run the risk of ripping things apart when they’re soldered to the strips. Also, as here in this pic, leave plenty of wire for strain relief.

I’ll post more/better pics of some of it assembled if I get the jacket back with the new bus pockets sewn in tomorrow.

And you weren’t worried about accidentally brushing against that while grounding yourself?

Aha, well that’s the second part of the trick that hopefully I might get to show you this afternoon.
