Any advice on what you would do differently if you could do it all over again?
Wow. All I can say is ‘wow’. I’ve seen this happen to my Dad, my employers and a whole bunch of others, so color me unsurprised. But still, wow!
It happens in the US as well but at least here there is a better chance of getting some sort of legal remedy. It’s more a case of using someone that’s either not equipped or capable (or both) of doing the job.
It’s a lesson, though a hard and expensive one. For what the POs are worth one could be over there for a week or so getting it ready to go, particularly if you already have the vendors.
It’s good to get the word out.
