Foresight is a challenging four-piece puzzle designed by Osanori Yamamoto (http://puzzlewillbeplayed.com/554Ring/Foresight/) which I converted to STL files using the free Burr Tools program and then printed on my Mendel90 in blue and gold PLA.
A really great challenge for serious puzzlers.
I’m not really a “serious puzzler”, but I printed this one out and enjoyed eventually solving this aptly named puzzle, so thank you!
I noticed that the website you mentioned uses some notation to classify solutions, e.g. your solution for Foresight was 11.5.2. I did a little googling but failed to find out what this means. Do you have a link describing that?
11 ‘moves’ for first piece removal.
5 for the second, 2 for the third, and so on.
A move can be a slide or a 90 degree rotation.
Not sure these are quite right for my solution, but that’s the convention.
Ah, it is in disassembly order, which makes more sense.
