From idea to design / rendering and finally printing.
That’s rather smart looking.
I like it!
That is the kind of project/object I like, that “justify” at friends eyes the need/usage of a 3D printer.
It is always difficult answer to the question “…and what you do with your 3D printer, what have you done ?”. 99% of my usage are calibration tests, and odd mechanical parts, things difficult to explain to the average people.
As soon as I will start using my new ABS spool I will do for sure. And I have just the need for it in my shower…
This is getting towards making 3d printing a truly viable technology
Very Kool
Great job! What cad software are you using if I may ask
Cubify Invent for the model (it’s like a cheap version based on Alibre, made with 3d printing in mind), Blender ( cycles ) for the renders. Mattercontrole to controle the printrbot jr.
@Jonathan_Peeters thanks, I will check it out.
@Jonathan_Peeters +1 for Cubify Invent. It’s a great tool for a low price. One of those programs I go back to regularly and have never regretted paying for.
