G32 crashes after firmware change

So I have been late to the smoothie party and only joined 3 months ago with a re-arm and so far it has been wonderful! With the documentation I was able to get everything nice and working.

After reading in the forum that the master branch (that panucat recomends on their re-arm help page) is out of date I switched to edge some weeks ago and that worked as well. Some days ago I updated firmware and config again, but now G32 behaves werid.

While G31 and G30 work as supposed, G32 starts moving and crashes straight into the bed without slowing down.
I checked the config and the probe and all responds like it should.

pastebin /F7rNE40k here is my config if you have any suggestions let me know

I’m running into the issue of after running a g32 and saving with an m500, if I call out a distance on the g30z command of 1 to 5mm z offset the extruder crashed into the table. For some reason the g32 isn’t holding the calibration distances. What version is your firmware?

i have exactly the same issues

*do not* use master, they have no good reason for recommending this and it causes all sorts of trouble. people should use edge, as the documentation says.

are you using the very latest version of edge, is your config file the very latest version, and the levelling strategy syntax exactly the one on the wiki ?

thanks arthur
install process is not really clear on wiki page…the blue button download contain only config file but you need the bin file upgrade too…why there are not inclued when you click on the blue button? so the latest config file is on the wiki(blue button) but where we can find the latest bin(stable)

ou trouver le dernier fichier config pr une delta??car le bouton bleu c est pr une cartésienne

Very simple : if you want to download the config you go to the config page, if you want to download the firmware you go to the firmware page :

http://smoothieware.org/configuring-smoothie
http://smoothieware.org/getting-smoothie

Also both pages refer to each other, and both are on the homepage.

If you want a page that mentions both, there is also http://smoothieware.org/sd-card
