While i’ve seen better sales on their site, a DRV8825 for $5,90 is hard to beat. Some members of this community have mixed feelings about GEEEtech, but personally, i can totally recommend them.
Edit: Some of the prices on the overview page don’t match up to the actual prices on the article’s detail pages. Their 2A stepstick ( http://www.geeetech.com/stepstick-a4988-stepper-driver-module-p-577.html ) is actually at $2.99 again. Get 'em while they’re hot!

@Thomas_Sanladerer I’ve never bought from them, I’m actually looking at them based on your posts, lol. I’m seriously torn on buying some stepper controllers, but I don’t “need” any right now. I need to listen to the advice I give my wife, only buy what you need now, regardless of savings…

I do it the other way around, actually. I rather stock up on cheap parts from China that i think i’ll need in the future and then wait on them for one or two month instead of having to order them from my local suppliers right then and paying five times as much.
And i mean, as long as you don’t have, like, a full set of spares sitting around, you always need stepper drivers.

Well, you twisted my arm, spent 20USD including shipping for 3 DRV8825 stepsticks. not bad
