Getting a strange artifact in my prints since updating to Slic3r 1.1.6. On every print the last little bit of the top layer is not getting filled in. The Gcode appears to be fine when I look at it in various viewers, but all of my prints are coming out like this. In the case of a large flat top layer like a case, its just the last little bit of the top infill that gets skipped.
This happens with and without combine infill settings which was one of my first thoughts.
Anyone else had this problem or have any idea?

Prusa v2, Marlin, various layer heights, Ramps 1.4
I noticed this as well. For me it also happened, at times, in the last little bit of a corner. I think It may be the speed at which the nozzle is moving compared to the amount being extruded causing it to not adhere.
@Michael_Spano_Jr_Ama I have watched it finish the top layer and it just stops where there is no more infill and moves to the resting position. There is no extra filament that didn’t stick.
How fast are you printing? I know that for slic3r+marlin, heat to the hot end stops as soon as the end of the gcode file is transmitted. If you’re going slow enough, it might be that the extrusion stops because marlin is preventing cold extrusion…
[edit: doh, if it’s actually stopping short of where it needs to be, then never mind. I do think shutting off the hotend before the last line is actually executed is a bug, however irrelevant to your current problem.

Definitely not my issue here, My top layers are printing at 40mm/s and for the blue falcon print the entire last layer takes less than 10 seconds, pretty sure the hotend is not cooling that fast. Also, the issue is too consistent for it to be something like a loose sensor wire.
