Oh man, that is looking super sharp Justin. Love the outside backlighting glow too.

That’s a really nice job!
What’s even better is that you have a nice little matrix in the center should you choose to display scrolling text or swirly patterns independently from the flower portion…
(oops, video still playing I see you do use it)
Bravo

WOW, man!! That’s terrific. I would kill to be able to see the code!!.. Fantastic piece of artwork.

So beautiful!

This looks quite lovely! Any chance you have details on fabrication?

Looks awesome. Now here’s a little challenge for you. Figure out why the undiffused pixel just top-left of the centre doesn’t do anything during that pattern with the rainbows swirling in opposite directions (near the end of the video).

Of all the places I posted figured someone here would notice that. :slight_smile: i think of know what it is just have not reprogrammed it since messing with that pattern. It has to do with some degrees calc I was trying… was attempting to do an incremental drift on the swirl and it just did not work out…

Great Job!!! Please share how you constructed it if you dont mind. We beginners could learn a lot from this. Also how much power does something like that use? It looks REALLY COOL.

@Jack_Keeney
I have an x-carve. It was carved from MDF. And then those cavities inlayed with tranlucent acrylic. square 12mm pixels, bare ws2812 pixels and strip on the back. I am powering it with 5v 8A power supply.
