Getting there. My first print went a lot better than my later ones but now I am starting to see progress.

Think I may have a slightly blocked nozzle.

Not sure why the print shifted 20mm one way and then back again…

check your belts, mine were always slipping in the beginning, loctite is good.

I think you have a few issues in play. There’s likely slippage causing the shift in the print as well as have you gone through and calibrated everything (x/y/z travel and extrusion)?

I think it might be the g-code. Re-tried the print and got the same sudden 20mm shift in the Y direction.

But I’m going to revisit the calibration

Gcode is possible, but unlikely given the state of modern slicing software. More likely you are missing steps because of a physical issue with the printer. Maybe it’s harder to move in y in a particular x and z position. You may also need to adjust the current going to the y-axis stepper motors.

Put a witness mark on the motor shaft and pulley … permanent marker [fine] will do. Speed, hence acceleration is higher on non-print moves and perhaps the pulley is slipping on the shaft.

Yep this is a mechanical issue. Lost steps, slippage somewhere.
