@foosel Lets see if this works any better… 4 material PLA Benchy xfer - Google Drive

Thanks!

@Mike_Miller Quick follow up questions  How long should this job take to print approximately and what filament usage did the slicer calculate for it for you? Seeing values that look too large here.

At least I found the visualization issue with the GCODE viewer thanks to this file! Turns out that Slic3r Prusa Edition produces GCODE lines separated by CarriageReturn only, no LineFeed to be seen. Extended my split mechanism to also allow for that and boom, stuff properly visualized immediately. I wish all bugs were fixed that easily

I’ll kick it off again. IIRC it was more than 8 hours (that wipe tower and tool chages add significant time to a print…1 color benchy takes approx 2.5 hours). I’ll let you know calculated lengths from Slic3r, the Firmware, and give you a final weight of the print and tower.

Wonderful, thank you!

Okay, I couldn’t get all the stats you wanted, when the printer stopped, the stats page reverted to all time filament stats, and I wasn’t here to see it at the end of the print. Also, the stats Slic3r provides aren’t sufficient, as you push the gcode through a post processor to add the wipe tower. :frowning:

Print time: 11 hours, 14 minutes
Weight: 88.59 grams (precision sucks, kitchen scale)
0.15mm layers
Filament used (pre-post-processor): 12348.49mm^3
(There’s some comments in the Gcode at the bottom about wipe box settings, but I don’t think it’ll be very helpful - the wipe box has 5% infill to save filament under specific circumstances.)

@Mike_Miller thank you again! Looks like at least the time estimates weren’t too far off then.
