Good news for all you Smoothieware users. The delta grid auto leveling now works for Cartesian printers! I followed the guide and it works great on my coreXY. Flawless prints so far, this fixed all the issues I was having with my printer because my MIC6 bed is slightly warped.
NOTE: to get the origin to the middle of the bed I did set my X and Y min values in config to the negative of the positives (1/2 overall travels). Then set go to origin to true. I’m slicing with Cura 2.3 with origin at center of bed enabled. Probed the bed once and saved it to SD card. Added the following to my start Gcode:
M104 S130 (preheat for expansion)
G4 P30000 (stabilize hot end temp expansion)
M375
G28
G30 Z0
G90
G1 Z10. F500 (raise nozzle off bed)
Note: my nozzle is my sensor. Grounds to the bed.
