@Tomas_Vit The new heating pad looks different but I’m not sure. And the heat might conduct enough.
Yes, I am looking for instructions at http://help.printrbot.com/Guide/Installing+the+Simple+X+Axis+Upgrade/232 and can not resolve, if our existing heating pad will fit or not. It is a waste of money to simply throw it out. @Brook_Drumm , please, can we use it or not for upgraded heated bed? Thank you in advance.
And what about the insulator? Will this not get as hot since there is no insulator?
For $25 bucks its a no brainer for the heated pad.
Good question on the insulator. Maybe the pad is upgraded and has its own insulation
This came up in another post. The new green plate is 240W, the previous red is 160W. It also lacks the molex needed for rev D boards.

I will be selling my heated bed from my simple metal for $55.00 plus shipping if anyone is interested. 6X6X6 Will be available next week.
Ok- the old bed fits right but may not get as hot. I will add a molex connector in the store for cheap. And it doesn’t need the delrin insulator because the at ends are delrin. We will include a radiant barrier though.

Just confirmed- radiant barrier will go out with all of these today. Molex plug will be in store today for a couple bucks… Soldering iron needed if you have revD.
